What is Cell to Singularity: Mesozoic Valley?
This is an incremental idle game set in the Mesozoic Era. You start with a single dinosaur node and gradually expand your simulation by earning fossil points, unlocking new species, and collecting Trait Cards. The core loop is clicking to gather fossils, spending them to buy more dinosaur copies for higher payouts, and reaching milestones that open the next wave of prehistoric creatures. The game has 50 levels and 10 prestige tiers, giving it a long progression curve for players who enjoy watching numbers grow over time.
Controls
The game is built around a single input: click or tap. Everything from collecting fossils to buying upgrades uses the left mouse button on desktop or a finger tap on mobile.
| Action | Desktop | Mobile |
|---|---|---|
| Generate fossils | Left-click a dinosaur node | Tap the dinosaur node |
| Charge a node | Left-click and hold the node | Tap and hold the node |
| Buy more copies | Click the dinosaur count button | Tap the count button |
| Claim quest reward | Click the quest at the top | Tap the quest at the top |
Fossil production and Trait Cards
Fossils are the main currency. Clicking a dinosaur node produces them directly, while charging a node speeds up output for a short burst. Buying extra copies of a species multiplies its fossil payout, so spreading purchases across several dinosaurs compounds your income quickly.
Trait Cards are the automation layer. Once unlocked, they let fossil production run without constant clicking. You collect Mutagen currency by acquiring dinosaurs, and Mutagen is used to activate and upgrade these cards. Stone Geode rewards from completed quests also contain Trait Cards and Mutagen, making quest completion a reliable way to push automation forward.
| Mechanic | What it does |
|---|---|
| Click a node | Produces fossil points immediately |
| Charge a node | Boosts fossil output for a short period |
| Buy more copies | Raises that species' fossil payout per cycle |
| Trait Cards | Automate fossil production passively |
| Mutagen | Currency used to unlock and upgrade Trait Cards |
| Stone Geodes | Quest rewards that contain Trait Cards and Mutagen |
Extinction events and prestige
Once you hit certain milestones, you can trigger an Extinction Event. This resets your current progress but raises your Simulation Level and unlocks dinosaur species that were not available before. It is the main way to expand the roster beyond the starting creatures.
At level 50 you can prestige. Prestige resets most progress, but you keep your rare and epic Trait Cards, which gives your next run a meaningful head start. With 10 prestige tiers available, the game is designed for players who enjoy replaying with compounding advantages.
Tips for faster fossil growth
- Prioritize quests early. Completing them gives Stone Geodes, which accelerate your Trait Card collection faster than manual clicking alone.
- Spread dinosaur purchases across multiple species rather than maxing one. Each species contributes to Mutagen income, so variety pays off.
- Charge nodes during active play sessions and let Trait Cards carry production when you are away.
- Save Extinction Events until you have completed all available quests in your current tier to get the most out of each reset.
- When you prestige, the rare and epic Trait Cards you keep are the biggest multiplier, so focus on acquiring those before triggering prestige.
