Tiny Fishing
More games to play
Tiny Fishing is a relaxed idle fishing game with a simple hook: cast your line, swipe to catch as many fish as you can on the way up, and cash them in for coins. Those coins buy upgrades that let you catch more fish per cast, drop your line deeper, and earn money even while you are away. The deeper you reach, the rarer and more valuable the sea life gets, so every upgrade nudges you toward bigger paydays. It is easy to pick up, hard to put down, and free to play in the browser.

How to play
The controls could not be simpler. You cast the line, then hold the left mouse button and slide left and right to guide your hook into passing fish as it sinks and reels back up. Each fish you snag is worth coins based on its rarity. On mobile you just drag with your finger. The whole loop is cast, catch, sell, upgrade, repeat, and the satisfying part is watching a single cast scoop up a whole string of fish once you have leveled up.
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
| Hold left mouse button | Slide the hook left and right |
| Drag on mobile | Same control with your finger |
| Catch fish | Earn coins based on each fish's rarity |
Fish tiers
Not all fish are worth the same. They fall into tiers, and chasing the valuable ones matters far more than catching a lot of cheap ones. Common fish fill the shallow water, rarer species show up once you upgrade your line, and the golden legendary fish are the real prize.
| Tier | Where and worth |
|---|---|
| Common | Abundant in shallow water, worth the least |
| Rare | Appear after early line upgrades, worth more |
| Legendary | Golden fish from 15m+ deep, worth the most |
Upgrades and the aquarium
You spend your coins on three core upgrades: how many fish you can hook per cast, how deep your line reaches, and how much you earn offline. Depth is the big one, since deeper water holds the pricier fish, and the legendary tuna only appears once you push past 15 meters. There is also an aquarium worth visiting regularly: every new species you catch gets added to it, and those fish quietly earn money while you are away. Between offline earnings and the aquarium, the game keeps paying out even when you close the tab, which is part of why it is so moreish.
Tips to earn faster
The smartest play is to prioritize high-value fish and avoid wasting your limited catch quota on low-value commons once you can reach better water. Pour early coins into maximum depth to unlock rarer species sooner, since a few legendary catches snowball your income fast. Upgrade your passive and offline earnings too, then leave the game running while you do other things to bank coins for free. Popping back regularly to collect offline money and aquarium earnings keeps your upgrade pace high without much active play.
